Why do people get so bent out of shape about this? Seeing Tennessee fans this weekend made me more thankful that our baseball fanbase doesn’t act like that. If some team beats us and wants to do a victory lap, good for them.

Victory laps is what I'm talking about. That didn't happen before Stony Brook. There's nothing wrong with good sportsmanship after a loss. But our fans made heroes out of those guys, and now that's our reputation, and people feel they need to live up to that, I guess. Which, as I said, makes the road team feel a little too comfortable.

Not really what we're talking about here. That's a narrative, and yes, the media is famous for that. Our fans literally celebrated them after they won. We all saw that with our own eyes. Can't blame that one on the media.
