USC hitting bombs had momentum
Not getting any calls pitching the corners.

We would have won last night using the relievers we used today.
We were down 4 runs today and he went with our best guys. Last night we were only down 2.

Today, half empty bc of early start and rain.
A lot of those pitchers friday with walks were due to the atmosphere. Throwing in that environment is not easy. Takes a special mental toughness.

Didn’t realize it at the time but extremely smart by Jay but the main reason he made those moves on Friday were cause of the weather delay. He was not going to let that effect his weekend plans.

We were down more today, and had “no bats” today until the big flies. Same as yesterday. Who knows, if herring or guidry pitches last night we get that win with edwards closing it out and maybe edwards doesnt get hurt

I’m sure if he knew how the Freshman would pitch last night he would’ve brought in Riley instead. He was trying to save the pen but I also think he must have had more confidence in Bucknam or whatever his name is than we as fans did.

They coached it like they were planning on getting both games in today, which probably doesn't happen now. Still though, the melting over a gamble not paying off is pretty embarrassing.

No one KNOWS, but we all know JJ had one shot at using those three pitchers and when he did we won the game. He went all in at the right time.
