How about a majority of the posters that I clash with usually? Only a couple have any ties to LSU besides just their decision to post on an LSU board.

I have seen nine- year -old girls, disapointed at the content of the latest Jonas Brothers CD, be less whiny.

Put me in the "Don't let the door hit you in your effete arse" camp.

I cheer for LSU, not Les Miles. Thick and thin, they are my team. If you think this is bad then you needed to see the team during the 70s.

huh?

I for one am a season ticket holder (south upper), contribute to TAF, and graduated from LSU ('97).

And, I probably speak for the large majority of fans when I say that lack of winning will never affect how much I pull for LSU.

In fact, if winning is a prerequisite for being a fan, then you aren't really a fan. Sorry if that offends you.

That doesn't offend me at all. You are directing your reaction to him at me.

And yes, I knew you have season tickets, you are one of the few that blindly supports Miles and actually attends games.

Are you kin to the Late Augie Cross? He once was a strong Tulane fan. Then they de-emphasized football, much like LSU did after Saban. Then Mr Augie switched his allegiance to LSU and became one of their most vocal and financial supporters.

I blindly support Miles?

I'm one of the few that actually attends games?

You are the one that made the comment about those criticizing the OP have no real connection to LSU.

You are recommending the guy give up his tickets (or at least stop going to the games), and stop contributing to TAF. Make no mistake, I was directing my criticism at you.

Yes, I said for him to stop going to games and withhold his TAF contribution, but I said that in relation to him watching games on TV.

Turning off the TV won't accomplish anything.

It's comical to read some of the comments on literally wishing you death and what not. Like your fanship mattered so much to them or something. I understand where you are coming from though. It was painful to watch this year and I have no hope for the future as long as Miles is here. And I actually get more pissed when I see all the talent lining up for 2011 because I know Les will find a way not to develop them or not play them. It's really fricked up. That being said, I spent way to much money graduating from there to ever give up on the team so I guess LSU pulled one over on me. But really man, do what you have to do.

Hey, one good thing about a couple 7-5 seasons is that all you bandwagon annies that jumped aboard in 2003 or 2007 will now jump back off.

That's fine with me.

That's just as bad as the OP telling the would he loves LSU so much he's turning off his TV.

If you support LSU, you wouldn't readily accept 7-5 seasons to rid LSU of fans. I think Les Miles is the cause of the woes I see, but I still hope he lucks into going 14-0 next season.
