Diamondhead.......as long as Miles "has a want" and "enjoys preparing for quality opponents" and "we play for victory"..........dude, its gonna be ok. It just sucks watching our proud program Saban built be put right back where it was before Saban got here.

I don't agree with this at all. While it hurts to see our team underperform and TAF become more and more complacent with mediocrity, I will ALWAYS, ALWAYS watch and support the Tigers.

I am no Miles fan, but I love LSU and the Tigers and will cheer them on no matter who is in charge.

I agree, I will support LSU no matter what, but have lost faith in Miles. I watch LSU no matter if we're playing Central Private.

Good. LSU doesn't need you.

For those bailing after 8 and 9 win seasons, I have to assume you starting following LSU football in 2001.

I want it to be better, but this is far from the bottom.

If Miles wins 8 he will get another year. If less, gone IMO

You keep using the word "watch" and although I don't disagree with your frustration, I am assuming by watch you mean TV. Your dissent by not watching the games on TV will make no difference.

Now, if you are a season ticket holder and TAF contributor, then I recommend you stop going to games and withhold your TAF donation.

All of the guys saying, "bye" do not have season tickets, contribute to TAF or attended even an audit course at LSU, so don't let them deter you.

LSU AD and CFB now is about $$$. That voice will be heard.

If LSU has chosen to keep Miles for not 1 but 2 more years...and Miles has chosen to keep Crowton for at least next year... I'm sorry but I am done. I cant watch another season of bad play calling, no discipline and soft attitude while Saban and Florida separate even further from us.

I am f'ing pissed !!! We have spent all this time and money building this program to elite status...I just can't watch it continue to crumble. It breaks my heart. Its physically painful and sickening to watch. Flame away...

So, what exactly is it you are going to do (or not do) now?

There is a name for this condition you describe:

Several psychologists have studied fan loyalty, and what causes a person to be a loyal fan, that sticks with a team through adversity, rather than a fairweather fan, that switches support to whatever teams happen to be successful at the time. LINK

I understand where you're coming from. I feel that way about the Saints, but not LSU. I was in the seats all through Archer, Hallman, and DiNardo. I'll sure as hell be there with Les at the helm. Geaux Tigers.

Do you honestly think people will give up their season tickets? No matter how bad LSU Football get the great majority will keep their season tickets. It will be just like Baseball was a few years ago by having 90,000 paid yet only 30,000 in the stands. As long as people can afford to keep their tickets they will, no matter how bad LSU Football gets.
