Awesome to see him bounce back after giving up the lead in the 9th. Could have felt sorry for himself and folded, but instead shoved in innings 10-12. Hopefully this is the turning point for him.

Dumb dumb

Dude has the 2 inning save without the Thompson error, then dominated UGA from the 9th on.

Could be what propels him.

We can hope, but we've been waiting all season to see signs of life from relievers. Every time we get one, it's back to the junk heap the next time out.

You battle even when you make mistakes. The most important pitch is the next pitch. I swear some people never overcome anything. It sounds like it anyway.

Bro, trust me, it’s not worth it. Guy knows more than us.

He battled and competed, that’s what he did. He made mistakes and overcame them.

That’s the state of LSU baseball. Pitcher blows a 2run lead in the 9th and we give him the MVP

We desperately need Hurd to continue to improve down the stretch!

Pitched well in the 8th.

Gas can in the 9th.

Money in the 10th and 11th.

It was a good outing for him...definitely something he can build on.

This I really liked.

Hurd fought through adversity and delivered. That’s been the issue with our staff.

He was all over the strike zone for most of his outing and ahead in counts throwing strikes. Overcame some groovers and trusted his stuff. Very gritty performance with the pressure on.
