How do you like your concessions
Posted on 3/5/26 at 8:36 am to FnTigers
How many games have you attended there? Exactly what is better?

I've even been in the boxes. It's intimate and not stale like the box has become. Look, I love the box. I have season tickets since the new one opened. It's extremely stale and generic. It's lacking.

So you prefer intimacy. Ok. Well, we can’t go back to 6,000 seats. There is nothing structurally ,functionally, or aesthetically better about that stadium than AB. The atmosphere that was created by their fans last night was the only thing that rivaled or matched AB. I put that on our spoiled fanbase.
If Tiger fans swapped stadiums right now with Cajun fans this thread would be 1000 pages long with complaints about “our” Tigue.
I say this and totally think they have a great stadium for the program they have. They should be proud.

It's really not small at all, by Sunbelt standards. It's actually quite a bit bigger than ULaf's old FOOTBALL venue, McNasty Stadium, where the Cajuns competed through the 1970 season. That hallowed edifice, known as the original "Swamp" thanks to its elevation of 5 feet below sea level, accommodated crowds of up to 4,750.

I'm not talking about capacity. I'm talking about Per Capita experience and atmosphere. They have a nice stadium with a fun atmosphere.
I'm also not talking about the shitty turf field.
AB could do a LOT of things to make it better than it is, and that's a fact. Run a poll and you'll get overwhelming results that we need to do something.

I don’t even understand your response. I never once talked about the shitty turf. Let’s do it like this.
1) what about the structure is better?
2) what about the actual seating is better?
3) what about the restrooms and concessions are better?
Do you love the horrible soundboard crap they have going on? Do you love the “another Super1 foods foul ball” announcements?
Is the fact that you have to buy peanuts from one specific vendor, and he’s the only vendor I the place that accepts cash, but won’t take card.
Try to actually formulate a fricking answer to any of those please

plate. I bet they sell the frito pies where they just pour the chili in the bag and those giant dill pickles too.
One would hope. All of that is awesome. Nothing worse than a stadium trying to cook shite that it can’t trying to be fancy and charging 18.00 for jambalaya Give me ballpark food and make it right and quick.

People complaining about seeing the concessions on tv are stupid. That's actually a great idea. their fans can have the best view in the house when they walk to the concession stand and not miss the game.
They built it for fan experience, not television

That chili frito in a bag is better than the tiger dogs. Btw, I’m an LSU fan. Tiger stadium and Alex box concessions suck bad except for maybe the jambalaya.

We seem to update the intimidator pretty regularly. I wish you fricking architects, entitled prima donnas and interior decorators would stop watching baseball.

It’s the only sport their fans actually show up for. Their FB and men’s bball games are laughable
