Don’t know if it’s been posted, but him upset with Hasty consoling him tugged at my heart strings. I was extremely critical of this team, but he has stayed, and I forget that these players/kids give it their all. Thank you for your service, both at LSU and with the Fire Department. What a great tiger.

Seems like sports are a paradox.

Those that have elite talent don’t always have the heart. Those with heart rarely have elite talent.

When you get the rare mix of both that’s where the truly special athletes are born.

Thanks to Viet and Bianca for sticking with the program when things didn’t go your way. You always have home at LSU.

He will remain the leader in the clubhouse for "looks most likely to stab a guy".

Will be one of my all time favorites. His grit started way back. He came in as a freshman off a major surgery that normally has guys out of whack for a couple years (thoracic outlet, rib removal). And he was pressed into weekend action very early on. The guy was just a fighter.

Him and Hilliard are special people.

Agreed. He pounded the strike zone typically. He may give up the occasional rocket blast HR, but he was steady and reliable. I felt like he deserved more innings this year.

Pitched 3.3 innings of perfect ball vs UTenn in the SECT. Wondering how many others if any did that this year.

Man these seniors deserved to host a Super.

So many self-inflicted wounds with swinging at ball 4s and leaving 0-2s and 1-2s hittable.

He can graduate and retire all in the same year. Dudes like 66 years old.

And thank you for your commitment Mr Viet.

This is the kind of leader I loved hiring.

He may not be the best student (I have no clue). He may not be the most outgoing person. He may not be the best ball player. But he showed his true nature a great teammate and a real Servant Leader. Not surprising he is a volunteer FF.

I’m just glad LSU fans weren’t giving Southern Miss a victory lap right in from of them like they did in 2012 while Hanover cried in the dugout

Trent was hard as nails. Gonna miss him, MaKhail and Devin even though he had a tough season this year. Those guys leadership and fighting spirit will certainly be missed.

And Project, his outing against Tennessee was the apex of his career. He carved those guys up - was fun to watch
