I saw a great football team run that play on nearly every defensive down.

SPICE, LSU Intramurals Flag Football

SoA ran it as well

But that's just the thing those are intramuralflagfootball teams.

Get real, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus but this is the real deal - BIG TIME college football

on that note, we should have our best high jumper blocking field goals...or at least, get the dude on the basketball team that can jump the highest...thoughts?

Shaq really missed his calling. Screw the NBA, he could have made bank blocking field goals!

Les not leveraging the many talents of DP may ultimately ruin his legacy at LSU

i used to run nickel and blitz da nickelback with Xavier Carter at nickelback on NCAA and he'd get like 50 sacks a year. think about it, Les.

Let's face it guys, we're not using our O-line up to potential either... picture this...

Joe Barksdale lines up at quarterback in the wild hog formation and takes the direct snap. He then quick pitches the ball to Keiland and serves as the lead blocker, thus giving us 6 O-linemen. I'm willing to bet that 60% of the time, it would work every time.

Which brings me to my next point. Why didn't we use Big Baby in this role?

I'd prefer putting Herm and him in a 2 back set and just let Herm thrown him over the line for 5 yards a pop

You mean like that popular sport, dwarf throwing?

At the risk of legitimizing this post...

I could see 2 places where TH could potentially be usefull on D:

1) coming off the edge to block a FG
2) maybe some type of prevent D scenario where the other team needs a TD and is too far away to just heave it into the endzone? TH would be responsible for running down whoever gets past our normal D...

And what would he do when he caught up with the receiver? All this would accomplish is out of 92,000 people he would be the closest person to actually see the receiver catch the ball.
