That’s bullshite. If the hitters would learn to “go with the pitch”, the shifting would disappear. If the defense knows you’re a dead pull hitter, I’m going to shift until you learn to hit it the other way.

I don't really like the shift either but rather than it being regulated out, I would like to see the hitter do something about it. Either learn to bunt or, more preferably, hit the opposite field - much like Tre Morgan does.
