I've heard plenty of times that he was the JUCO defensive POY ; I guess I just assumed it was at 3B. If that's the case then yeah, I think I wanna see Merrifield 3B, Doughty 2nd, with Dugas, Crews, Gio in OF. Jobert has been good at DH, but I don't think he's been good enough to overcome the errors and miscues from Berry. When Milazzo comes back, he's gotta be at C for at lesat 2/3 on a weekend.
We've gotta do something to shore up the defense. Even with that you still should be able to score plenty runs in most games, but we've just been waaay too sloppy in the field and have given way too many runs away

Four hours and 45 minutes to watch us crumble in the top of the 9th. It takes serious dedication to watch an entire baseball game now.

I won’t let you blame this one on Cooper
The worst play of the entire night was the strikeout that McManus missed. I think that led to 2 extra runs.

There’s been a couple in the outfield that were awful misplays but not errors IIRC

We couldn’t ask for a better trio to be up for us in the bottom of the ninth which means they probably all either strike out or hit a lazy pop fly/ground ball on the first pitch of their AB

Goes back to what I said. He doesn't have a feel of who to put out there in certain situations. Like he seriously needs to sit down after this series and figure out what to do to stop the bleeding. It's early in the season and we can still get it together but we can't keep doing in the field.
