If anything we need a couple of base runners to give the top of the lineup a shot in the 9th.

We’re not scoring many runs against good teams that’s one of the problems. We knew before the year pitching was the question mark, and the shitty defense isn’t helping. We were counting on our offense to win us close games and so far they haven’t been able to do that

Maybe the pitching staff. The position players are mostly the same as last year, and they didn’t play this bad.

Thompson regressing fielding wise is not a Johnson problem when he’s playing the same position.

Doughty’s problems at 2nd can be attributed to the fact he mainly played 3rd and was better suited at it.
