At least fans can temper their expectations. Win maybe 2 SEC series and get an at large 3 or 4 seed in a regional on the West Coast (at best).

Just like last night. 4 hours for a 2 run game that really wasn’t all that high scoring. It’s brutal.

Time outs, pitching changes, walks, etc. ugly games take longer. No pitcher is working quickly with quick innings or outs. Outside of Trent’s one inning and our bottom of the first.

mound visits and pitching changes - I believe in MLB they require the relief pitchers to face at least three batters or close out the inning
