I would get leaving him in there if we are looking at a top 8 seed and you're looking to see just how far he can extend so you'll know for Omaha. But, we need every win we can get now. We gotta play for now. I just don't get what he was seeing to bring Evans back out there and I feel like we've said a lot of those same things a lot this year.

There was zero logical reason for Evans to come back out. Even if his thought was 1 batter, ok fine but he destroys a line drive up the middle. Then Jay proceeds to still leave him in.
