I'll be frank. I don't know how any young black male could go to A&M, see the male cheer leaders or whatever the hell they are, and say "This is the spot for me".
I'd take slightly less money not to be near that freaking weirdness.

What is your point?
We can't compete with bags. That's the point. Any kid that is dead set on getting the most money has already made their decision.
But once a kid looks beyond the $$$ then yes, we absolutely can compete and have more credibility than either school as far as developing players.
That's why we're getting flips from the kids who can see the bigger picture.

The amount of denial in that post. A&M won it with Homer Norton in 1939, he retired from coaching in 1947 and died in 1968. They have won the SEC West exactly zero times. They have not been their conference champ since 1998 in the Big 12.

It's also completely moving goal posts with Kelly "his defense is horrible." Even the biggest Kelly naysayers when he was hired admitted that he would field solid defenses.
What was said, was that Kelly fielded stagnant offenses with mediocre QB's. LSU fans said that if he could bring his offensive line prowess, the state's ability to provide NFL guys at the skill position would elevate his offenses. So who looks right? Just wait until he tinkers with the defense. Those naysayers are going to look really dumb by 2025 at the latest.

Alabama was doing NIL before it was legal. A&M is paying more in NIl than anyone else. The difference between Saban and Fisher, and I can’t stand either of them, is Saban won championships with the talent he paid more than anyone else would or could pay for.
