I hope he does. Just to rub it in Chase’s face that he shouldn’t have quit on the team.

It’s really sad that grown arse men sit on this board & make remarks like this. Your mom should’ve aborted you

I am waiting for somebody to explain to me how Chase opting out was a good move for him? He can just as easy get hurt working out on his own. As long as he doesn’t get hurt Marshall comes off the board before Ja’Maar.

Lester said DJ Chark couldn’t play in the NFL, he has no idea what he’s talking about when it comes to player evaluations and doesn’t really know much about football in general.

both Chase and Marshall should have very good NFL careers and both be first day picks.

Yeah but you said Chase only got big numbers last year from facing other team's weaker DB, which is just factually wrong. Bad opinion vs. flat out incorrect is a tough choice.

No that’s not what I said. I said he wasn’t our number 1 target and benefitted from secondary coverage and 1 on 1s most of the time. I didn’t say it was the only reason he had a big year in fact I said I thought he’d be an outstanding pro. This constant narrative you guys put forward that if you don’t believe someone is infallible you think they suck is so lazy and ignorant. All I did was state the facts of Chase as a prospect, I’ve never once knocked him as he will always be an LSU favorite of mine.

I would say yes, a lot more film on him this year versus looking at film from a year ago. No knock on Chase but I don’t know how sitting out improves you status. GMs will look at that as well so it’s likely it could hurt those who opted out. Could be a lesson learned for these underclass men. Either way I hope they both go high in the draft

I think you’re right and I do think Chase will be a good NFL player but comparing them as prospects favors Marshall unless Chase tests through the roof at the combine. Here’s why, over the last decade I think there have been 8 WRs taken in the top 10, of those only Amari Cooper, Tavon Austin and Sammy Watkins are 6-1 or under. Cooper was the last one that size and he goes about 220lbs, 216 at the time of the draft if I’m not mistaken. Most of the top 5-10 WRs are big physical WRs like Corey Davis (Titans) who compares very much to Marshall. Henry Ruggs, a true burner (4.27) was the top WR taken last season at #12 so for Chase to get ahead of Marshall at his size he’s gonna need that impressive combine. A lot of our fans were mislead by summer mocks for college football that always purposely rank players from top schools higher than they should be because it’s meant to advertise for college football.

Marshall is fricking awesome, but he won’t be drafted above chase
Unless chase isn’t working out and has a bad pro day

I think that Chase's opting out when he did will hurt him with some teams. Marshall is bigger and probably as fast. Both are very good players.

No way Marshall goes before Chase, unless he does this:

He has to face the best man that Bama and Florida can throw at him and destroy him mano y mano. That’s what Chase did to two first round draft choices.

Marshall has improved his stock so far. He needs to eliminate the drops. He looks fantastic on the hoof, and there is no reason, as strong and big as he is, that he should not win the big battles.

Don't forget Terrell who went 14. Anyone putting any caveat on his performance last year is invalid.

Marshall will test better than Chase in every measurable category at the combine. Book it.

I dont Think he will.

I dont Think he’s faster.

Chase is extremely strong and overpowers DB’s at the LOS better, but that’s it.

I think Marshall is the smarter player and is better at getting open.

Chase is stronger and more physical. Chase was always open even when covered.

Chase is a #1 receiver for any team and will be drafted as such.

Marshall is more of a slot receiver which puts him further down.

The biggest question is how Chase does after a full season out of football. If he shows up to the combine rusty or loses a step, he could see his stock drop.
