Why are you focused on the OC? LSU had many OCs including Jimbo Fisher that didn't make any difference. What make s a big difference is a big time QB. SF 49ers were winless and they won 5 in a row after bringing in a new QB. Also, there is no reason to believe SE is going to be worse than any previous OCs.

To think an 18 year old kid would out O and Alleva for their bullshite.

Looks like there was quite the political campaign to make it appear there was actually a search. Including, and not limited to, straight up lying to boosters and every other fan .

There will be a 30 for 30 on this shite one day. Mark my words.

But the rant told me elite players wouldn't come to LSU to play for SE. Peculiar.

Guaranteed that Marshall and Steve E discussed in detail what type passing game would be utilized and Marshall decided that he would get enough touches to get to the NFL. THis is where Sullivan is a HUGE advantage. You want to get to the league? How about your coach who was there for 25 years and knows every coach there?
Bluebook this: SE will throw the ball about 45% of the time. He will use the short crossing and TE & RB patterns to gain confidence for QBs and then take shots downfield. With MB playing he will throw deep outs initially and then if he progresses he will start throwing more often over the middle. If LN is in the will move the pocket and run more flood patterns in RPOs.
I'm no blind O supporter and really wanted Canada to work out. THen I wanted another big name OC to be hired. But after all is considered, we are going to have a really good offense if one of our QBs can throw the ball accurately, something we have sorely missed since Mett's SR year.

I sort of like the fact that they told this very important recruit the truth.

Probably, we've gotten tons of highly ranked HS WRs by BSing them about how awesome the offense was going to be.

So what you're saying is our offense will be predictable. How'd that work out in the past?

Mett's senior year we had two of the best WRs in LSU history and one of the best RBs in LSU history along with one of the best OLines in LSU history. We're talking Mett, OBJ, Jarvi Landry, La'el Collins, Jeremy Hill, Trai Turner. That offense was LOADED. The chances of this offense being anywhere near of productive are slim to none. Don't be naive.

Good post and kind of where I'm at. We feel real good about adding Chase right now and we could have the most dynamic WR tandem since Landry and OBJ. Brennan has the ability too get them the ball as well so there really are positives here. I'm not a fan of the HC or the OC hire, but we could still have a very successful passing game with the talent we have.

Orgeron let it be known after the A&M game how he felt. It's his ship and he will go down with it

I don't even care at this point. Hoping for the best, but expecting to be continuously let down.

Yet, you probably praised his "decision" to come to LSU, correct?

The search was outside of the chain of command. Coach O. has said repeatedly he always knew it was Ensminger. Interference was what was going on and whoever was trying lost.
