Why do a search when you had already made your decision? That is what goes on in the plants all the time. They bring in a lot of people and test them and even interview them. But they already know who they are going to hire. It happens everywhere all the time.

This is not what happened. Orgeron didn't bring anyone in. Tee Martin even expressed interest and Orgeron said no thanks, don't even need to talk to him.

this kid was Ensminger’s recruit of course he fricking likes the guy.
NVM the kid was an inflant the last time Ensminger spent a full season as OC.

I truly believe that O would have left CSE as OC for '17 if Joe hadn't pushed him to hire another "hot shot" OC, I.e. Canada.
I know from experience in the work place, when you are forced to work with someone you dislike, don't want, or have little faith in their abilities, the job usually gets screwed up sooner or later.
Now that O has gotten his way, if it doesn't work, he gone! So, why is everyone PO'd again? Sit back and watch the show, hopefully it will be an enjoyable season. We have 2 stud QB's and I believe we will see both of them play.

Better than Dameyeune Craig and Jimbo? We likely will get Chase who reportedly looked better than Marshall in The Opening. We also signed 4 star Kenan Jones and 4 star Jaray Jenkins who many think will be the best returner we've had in years.
All this was done knowing the OC situation.
I'm not saying I like it. I've said the search was BS and the lie is one of many reasons O and Alleva must go.
I'm just not buying the apocalyptic, pollyanna BS either. We very well may crash and burn in 2018. I'm just not so sure. There is plenty to look forward to unless you chose not to.
