The way Josh Heupel came out of left field with his response about Kiffin and LSU is so desperate and out of touch that all you can do is laugh. They want to insert themselves into being relevant so bad that they somehow try to steal some of the Ole Miss/Lane drama onto themselves. The Ole Miss hate, I understand. It’s fresh and the hate is real. Tennessee was never a contender the way OM was last year and it’s been how long since Lane left that garbage program in the rear view?? Que the Conor McGregor “Who the F is that guy??” when Heupel started talking tough. Both hilarious and sad at the same time. Don’t you just love that LSU stays on their mind this much? I sure do. STTDB!!!

What Heupel did was immature and unprofessional.
Provoking own fanbase to cause chaos towards Lane and lsu isn't a good look.
I thought it was disgusting when UT did that vs lane and OM.
If one of those golf balls connects with you from the stands, it can knock u out. Dangerous.
Let them be.
Kiffin hasnt coached one game at lsu and hes the talk of town at media day already.
I can't wait for this journey ahead of us.
Exciting times.

Heupel is trash, there’s a chance he may not even be coaching when lsu rolls into town and hangs 49 on them
I remember a couple years ago Florida was waxing that arse up by 2-3 touchdowns and be calls a timeout that extends the game and a fight breaks out

If you want to piss off each and every Ole Miss fan without saying one word, just wear a texas jersey with Manning on the back. A third generation Manning playing for Texas irks them more than Kiffin.
I have some thoughts on Tennessee too. I know a girl who is a Vol fan who is a Spurrier; she wore a Tennessee jersey with her name on the back and got pelted with ice the whole game. She didn’t make that mistake twice!

Heupel didn't look like he was joking at all and even if he was, that was in poor taste since someone did throw a golf ball at Lane.
I think he was serious despite him saying it was a joke because his demeanor did not give off a joke at all especially the golf ball joke. That seemed like a personal shot.
An LSU fan needs to throw Ozempic at Heupel in that game. Jking.

Y’all love an having an attention grabbing coach until he starts getting a lot of attention. It was an off comment joke made at SEC media days. Y’all put way too much stock into what coaches say in press conferences and interviews.

But as the clips is shared through the socials, not everyone will go watch the full interview. You'll have a bunch of college kids, and adults that think they are still college kids going along with it. Just as the news does it with politics.

He’s definitely joking, but you don’t frick around and say that to the press with all the demented fans in the SEC who take what their coach says as gospel He will definitely have to issue a statement before the game.
