Was that the goal in this whole thing for Jayden’s legacy to be diminished into 20/30/40 years down the road from Jayden’s camp? I sure hope that this whole thing wasn’t a bluff on their part because man oh man did they not receive good advice. This isn’t Arizona State. We love JD5 and everything that he did, but stripping away his name, image, and likeness away only hurts him long term as he won’t be recognized the way that he would have been otherwise. Maybe reread the OP but slower this time. No one called for the backup to start anywhere in what was posted. Simply put, we apparently have an ultra talented backup for the future that is intriguing to look forward to. This is an LSU football message board, right? I share your hopeful optimism, but I seem to remember Nuss widely considered to be a possible #1 overall draft pick and thinking we were going into the season with the most solidified QB in the SEC.

Will be ELECTRIC! Lane has experienced how unmatched tiger stadium can be, but this will be his first experience on the sideline of the good guys. And no doubt it will be rockin’. The fan base will have a rejuvenated sense that we are back along with that LSU swagger that has been missing since 2019. I sense that this will be the first night that Lane has a moment where he thinks to himself “I made the right decision. This is what I came here for”. Can’t wait!
