Tennessee is NOT like the 2019 tigers

Tennessee is good but let's be honest,lsu was elite in all phases.tennessee doesn't have a player on defense like Grant Delpit or Derek Stingley.Lsu's O-line was the best in the country.tennessee's kicker made the big kick,but nowhere near as good as Cade York.
Tennessee finally got a damn good coach,I will say that.
Tennessee is legit and they beat bama,but let's wait and see what they do at Georgia.

I think Tennessee is probably the best team in the country, and that’s all you can be. Neither LSU in 2019, nor any other team, is the best of all time, because that is unknowable. The 2019 Tigers were a great team. It’s fun to reflect on that occasionally. But to keep insisting that they are better than whichever team is this year’s best smacks of jealousy.

Yea no doubt 2019 LSU would blow the doors off Nebraska 95. Their DBs would have no shot trying to cover our wrs.

Their schedule is no where near as difficult as LSU 2019. End of story.

Tenn isn’t even better than Alabama at best they are equal. Did you watch that game? It was in Tenn for one and they needed a missed FG to have a chance at the end. So to say they are the clear cut best team is a falsity unlike 2019 where there was zero doubt who the best team was unless you were Dan Orlovsky or Joel Klatt who lived in denial to the bitter end like the two idiots they are

Everyone wants to be compared to the 2019 Tigers offense, but they haven’t played nearly as difficult of a schedule.

Has there been comparisons in the media to 2019 Tigers?
I haven't seen it yet if so. But if you look at all phases, I think LSU was better in all of them for sure. Anybody making the comparison is looking at the Offense only. Hooker is not Burrow and the WR's LSU had were incredible. The pre-snap reads and accuracy of Burrow and the hands of the WR's were unreal and much better than what we've seen in Tenn.
But I'm glad to see Tenn back in the mix and CJH deserves credit, he has a made them into a good team and I think they could take down UGA. UGA and Bama are not at the top of their game this season so it will be interesting. Will Tenn have to beat Bama twice?

It’s not unknowable. It’s very easy, actually, to make the statistical comparisons. It’s very easy to compare the schedules. It’s very easy to compare the awards and accolades. It’s very easy to see that 2019 LSU is the greatest of al time.
I think what you meant was that it’s impossible to know who would win if the teams played each other, which is correct. However, it doesn’t mean you can’t make the other comparisons.

Something can be like something and not be exactly the same. The point is, there are plenty of similarities between the two at this point.

I don’t think people are saying they’re as good as 2019 LSU, they’re exist pointing out the parallels.
-coach that people were not happy with the hire

-haven’t been in the playoff picture in a while and kind of skyrocketed unexpectedly
There are definitely similarities. But no one rational person thinks they’re the GOAT team.

Tell that to the people saying Hooker is having as good of a season Burrow, LSU would not beat TN by a large margin and to say otherwise is ignorant.
And for this reason alone, I hope GA mauls TN this weekend.
