Better have a very short leash for Schmidt in this situation.

Just as long as the wheels don't come off like they did against Alabama last weekend.

Once again, Eyanson battles and although he didn't have his best tonight, still limited them to 2 runs.

Against the Vols, that’s pretty damn good.

Both starters threw amazing the last two games. The offense can’t keep waiting until the 9th inning the finally wake up and do something.

Pray for the long ball. Small ball isn't working.

Yeah but Schmidt feels like a concession honestly. I get what he’s trying to do, but it’s 2-0. I guess 2-0 is more like 72828-0 for this fricking offense lately besides the 9th last night.

He’s likely just in because there’s two right handlers up.

It really does.

I don't know what's going on, but this team is way too talented to be playing like they have the last month or so.

If they start putting it together towards the end of the year, they'll be in Omaha. If they keep playing like this, they may struggle to get out the regionals and definitely the supers.

I like Schmidt here. Go get the fricking 9 hole batter hitting .200. Time to grow up.

If Bill Goldberg is wrong, I don't want to be right.
