I believe this weekend series may be more important than the last. Wining Sunday to avoid the sweep was big in my opinion, but winning a series on the road early in the season is what we need. I think the bats will come around better in the second half of the season. But we play so many good teams early. If we can win some series against middle of the road SEC teams and our bats get better as the season goes, we could be in good shape by SEC tournament time.

100% Saturday and Sunday. Maybe a doubleheader tomorrow.

Lose this series and LSU should be looking into Southside Gardens availability for Paul.

I doubt they play tonight. Forecast showed heavy thunderstorms til midnight. If they play a DH Friday or Saturday does that mean 7 inning games?

Luckily LSU doesn't play tonight

If they end up playing two on Saturday I would hope they could get in (2) 9 inning games. If it's Sunday then it'll be 7 innings.

Tenn is a hot team right now
LSU will need to generate some offense in this series
With Vandy next week LSU must take 2/3 because you are about to go up against Rocker and Leiter back to back

Tennessee isn’t middle of the road.

Tennessee is better this year.... 2 outta 3 would be very good for this young team's confidence.

They probably should try to play a doubleheader tomorrow looking at the weather forecast. If they dont, getting all 3 games will be tough

Other than Missouri being awful, there isn't much middle of the road in the SEC this year.

Nope. It might be more important because it’s in the future, the other is in the past, and we can affect the one but not the other. But in the scheme of things they are equally important.

The last ones over. This series can still be won so I guess you’re correct.

Tell the selection committee that every win & loss is equal & watch them laugh

What are you talking about, dipshit? You just decided to start a new conversation? We are talking about a weekend series, not midweek games. If Vandy and LSU split the series 2-1 it does not matter to the selection committee whether the one was Friday or Sunday.

A&M, Bama maybe, Georgia, USC. Not sure about Kentucky yet either. But I agree in general. Mizzou sucks and there are some really, really good teams that will finish 10-13.
