Well IF and it’s a big IF they can bring pressure (and they will) AND get to Burrow (not sure they can) they can keep it close.

IF the OL stifles the blitzes and Burrow makes them pay for selling out to come after him it will be a long day for Clemson.

To me they have to blitz a ton to have a chance. Sitting in a zone, dropping 7 or 8, trying to go 1 on 1 with us none of that has worked. It’s pressure Burrow or they are dead.

Nah, they aren’t stopping our O. Either team will have to score high 30s into the 40s to win this game imo.

I’d be more focused on their O against our D in an analysis of how they keep it close.

Basically they have to keep pace with us and hope to get the ball last with a chance to win it at the end.

Make no mistake, they can do that. With the weapons they have and TL operating their offense, they need to play mistake free and capitalize on opportunities for big plays, namely TL has to hit open receivers down field. Their OL play has to be very good, as it has been most of the year.

And most importantly red zone efficiency. If they settle for FGs in the red zone they will not keep pace.

This - I think is the key to the game for both teams. Whoever's kicker has the most FG's will lose.

I do think our tempo will give them fits, and especially our draws from tempo. CEH will find huge open spaces. But other posters have said, that Tranny QB will hit some big throws and keep them in the game

Turnovers
Injuries to key LSU players
Big plays to Etienne, Ross, and Higgins

That’s the recipe.

If anything it showed just how impressive they are when their main playmakers have an off night.

What happens when you key on Etienne and Higgins and Ross have an off night? Lawrence takes over with his legs.

I wouldn’t count on those guys having an off night like that again. OSU is a stout defensive team.

I was at Vandy game. LSU’s defense was missing 4 guys on defense and 2 guys on a one drive suspension for breaking team rules. We had 5 starters on the field and Vandy ran the ball down the field for a. TD.

They had 3 “three & outs” after that. People gave LSU’s Def. Flack for giving up so many points but you may recall we fumbled the ball in the end zone for a Vanderbilt TD and Joe threw a Pick 6 which accounted for 14 of the points given up.

We scored so fast on offense all game that day that it didn’t matter. Never seen an LSU team score that fast & that easy at the same time.

Joe didn't throw a pick six against vandy, that was Myles. Joe hasnt thrown a pick 6 all year

Yep. I saw tOSU and Clemson as two college teams with great talent at several spots. They were obviously very competitive with each other.

I also saw an LSU team playing on another, higher level...across the board....than any other team in college ball.

That’s what I saw.

Nothing Clemson has done this season, or did Saturday night, tells me they can keep this game close without unprecedented injuries to LSU,

I think LSU will win but I don’t think it will be anything like the beat downs we’ve seen the last few games.

Wouldn’t surprise me if this is the lowest point total for the offense outside of Auburn.

I’m thinking

31-24

It’s the world vs Clemson. They have won 2 of 3 titles and are a proven product. Clemson will play their best game. That said LSU 49 Clemson 38.

Well, Clemson defensive stats are pretty stout, and they have a couple of guys who can. Bring pressure. So I hope the. O line is on top of its game.

i cant give you specific reasons why, but just like alabama and auburn were close games, i expect this to be a war that takes all 4 quarters to win.
