Statistically, Daniels and Burrow had better peak seasons than Tebow. However, Tebow's role in the running game has to be taken into account. He ran like a fullback from QB position, while Florida had speed guys to stretch defenses horizontally. An exceptional complementary mix of inside and outside running.
I remember watching one of his high school games with Nease, and they put him at DT for a goal line stand. That indicated to me what type of player he'd be. Toughness, physicality, character, leadership -- Tebow epitomized these traits as a college football player.

The gaslighting of jd’s heisman is ridiculous.

It’s semantics, but I’d consider Tebow more of a great college football player than a great college QB.

They didn't win a championship, but the numbers don't lie. Statistically, it was arguably the best season by any player-EVER!

JD is great but never really had a chance to prove any clutch ability.

I have to disagree. Last year's defense was so bad Daniels had to be clutch EVERY drive. Answering score after score against SEC defenses is pretty damn clutch to me.

Tebow couldn’t even last in the pros. Daniels is going to light the league up on an absolute shite team like Burrow has.

All three performed great. However, I think Tebow tied up the x-factor after he gave this speech (LINK ) and then delivered.

I dont know what you mean by tied up the x-factor but Joe B was eat up with it. Confidence exuded from his body and the whole team fed off of it

Tebow was the best football player of the three, but doesn’t come close to being as good a QB as either Burrow or Daniels.

Cam Newton dragged an untalented Auburn team to an undefeated national title.

Nobody mentioned Cam, but yeah he was more dominant than everyone listed not named Burrow.

Yeah, Cam was like a better Tebow.
