Why do people keep saying send Chad Jones on a blitz to hit him? It's not like Chad's gotten to the QB in two seasons.

Because the only LSU sacks this year have come from Defensive Linemen, and no one ever remembers their names until they hear them.

(Alem, Nevis, & Edwards have one each, I believe).

can't believe anyone actually believes Brantley could come into tiger stadium in his first start and be a more feared QB than the three year starting, heisman winning QB with two NC rings

Not totally disagreeing with you but a certain freshman QB by the name of Leak lit us up.

This could be a total decoy. LSU will have to spend time gameplanning for two different quarterback. This will be difficult, especially since there is limited film on one of those quarterbacks.

Actually the ticker says he "practiced" and preparing to play. Doesn't say he passed the scratch and sniff test..

It can happen, but again you can't expect a backup to come in and be as good as the best player in school history.

Also, Leak was also making his 7th start and had 229 yards and 2 TD's. Had LSU's offense been able to score 13 points, we would remember Leak being sacked 6 times and having an ok game.

I'd imagine Tebow eats Spaghetti-o's in full pads these days.

This really is stupid if he plays. I've had a concussion before, and its no fun. Worst part about it is that our guys on defense are now in between a rock and hard place. If Tebow plays, they will either be worried about hurting him and not play all out or play all out, end up hurting Tebow and our team be called dirty.

Either way, if he plays, I hope they clean his clock, because it will have been his and his coaches/doctors'choice to play, and in my opinion if he's that careless about his health, then i have no sympathy for him if he gets hurt worse.

They should call this board 'excuse droppings' b/c this is some seriously lame stuff. I really enjoy how all these doctors...err..fans, think they know anything about Tebow's condition or the severity of it. Not to mention the built in pregame excuses about youor D not wanting to play hard b/c they don't want to hurt Tebow.

I especially love the 2nd part of the post where you wish ill will on him b/c his doctor's made a questionable decision that you dont have the knowledge or inteligence to understand. Really good stuff. What happens when Tebow goes off?? Will you blame his success on your D's not wanting to hurt him??
