re: Not meant as a flame but is UF for real?

Florida is for real. They out muscled a tough LSU. Make all the excuses you want but they handled the Tigers up front. If you can do that then you are a top 5 club.

Florida doesn't fool anybody. They justrun the ball up the gut and outtough people. Fooling people isnt a recipe for continued to success. Miles is closer to it then that.

Come on folks, I was there and that was a big time atmosphere for a big time game and that was the type of passion displayed by both teams that makes cfb God's sport.
The Gators were having a team huddle that was clearly originating around the 35-40 and spilled over in the eye. They breaking up and going to the sideline when LSU took exception and defended their turf. Florida responded as they should. I thought both teams played very hard and played a clean, hard hitting game. Much respect from both sides.
Great atmosphere and great fans in Baton Rouge.

re: Tebow at practice in full pads

This really is stupid if he plays. I've had a concussion before, and its no fun. Worst part about it is that our guys on defense are now in between a rock and hard place. If Tebow plays, they will either be worried about hurting him and not play all out or play all out, end up hurting Tebow and our team be called dirty.
They should call this board 'excuse droppings' b/c this is some seriously lame stuff. I really enjoy how all these doctors...err..fans, think they know anything about Tebow's condition or the severity of it. Not to mention the built in pregame excuses about youor D not wanting to play hard b/c they don't want to hurt Tebow.
I especially love the 2nd part of the post where you wish ill will on him b/c his doctor's made a questionable decision that you dont have the knowledge or inteligence to understand. Really good stuff. What happens when Tebow goes off?? Will you blame his success on your D's not wanting to hurt him??
re: Urban Meyer Below Average Coach

Wildrebedtime,
I really feel sorry for you. You watch a lot of football but obviously have no understanding of what you are seeing...like a baby staring at the words on a page.
Meyer wins b/c he is the best coach in America. The criteria for best coach in America is as follows:
1. Championships
2. Recruiting
Any other criteria is simply subjective.
The spread option Meyer runs is based on core pro concepts, namely a downhill running game that features counteraction right up the gut. The difference rests with the QB as a run option. This gives the offense a one man advantage in the box and leads to very big plays. Florida is the best rushing team in America for a reason. They out-toughed every team they played including their 4th quarter domination of Alabama and Olahoma. Everything at Florida revolves around toughness at the point of attack. BOTTOM LINE - the S.O. is nothing at all like the run and shoot. Any opinion to the contrary reveals your lack of understanding.
SEC coaches have already figured out how to defend? Really? That is the single most absurd statement I have read on this even more absurd thread.
Florida is not running a pro style offense in '09. The fact that Meyer practices different concepts in the Spring does not mean they are changing their offense. It is simply a sign of just how thorough, thoughtful, and well-rounded his mind is. Besides, what do you know about how much experience a coach needs to run a pro-style attack...or, better yet, what do you now about Coach Addazio's lifetime worth of football experience.
You are entitled to your opinion, but your post is simple crap.
P.S. Your quote at the bottom of the page really destroys your credibility...and it reveals you as a Razorback which also destroys your credibility.
