This shite, both in the media and on here, isn't going to help

Focus on the coaches, not the players

I’m not saying I agree with him. But the “my body hurts thing” is absolute bs. (Obviously probably completely made up by O.)

Greg Gilmore:

quote:

Body hurting? PLEASEEEE! If I would have told @AXJ76 that as a freshman...

AXJ76 being Anthony Johnson

T-Bob:

quote:

I agree Greg, this is some soft shite from these young cats, do what you gotta do, but if you quit on the team, be gone

And next year he's an All American at UGA

T Boob is a meathead who likes to hear himself talk. It's genetics.

He’s not wrong. He was looking at it from a players perspective. Players don’t give two shites how many stars were next to your name when recruited you go out there and compete.

He's right, but so was what Orgeron said regarding Trump.

That doesn't mean the players think that way or will like it. They don't like what's happening here, they'll leave and find what they're looking for elsewhere.

Gilbert wants to leave, he'll have spots open for him at every other football program.

TBob is an idiot

Gilbert early signed before Brady left I'm sure he was expecting a different offense. He might also know that maybe Myles is done so this offense right now will be it for the next 3 years with those QBs.

I blame Ed for keeping E as OC and hiring Linehan.

Not good! TBob has to realize his voice matters in LSU affairs. He needs to tone it down. Gilbert doesn't come from football royalty and have the same resources and support he had.

Gilbert is a kid and may need some guidance from the right person. I miss Louisiana at times after 30 years of being away, but I come to my sense and see the big picture of why I left. It's not like Louisiana appeals to everyone the same.

NO, These players need to nut up. Changes are coming for the coaches, that's for sure, but the players need to realize what personal accountability is. They play a role in this as well.

What's worse is CEO said if Gilbert opts out(quits on his team), that he would welcome him back. That's when you know that your coach is completely dead in the water.

Opt outs are quitters. No one can argue that.

If it had been just 1 or 2 players, maybe I’d agree. But there’s a clear leadership problem that isn’t exactly enticing the players to want to stay

No he doesn’t. More guys with a voice like TBob need to speak up. Quitting culture

Man we need everyone in this team. I think football has changed so much and the mentality of the youngns is so far down a path of entitlement. I just don't get it, the guys that just grind every day and try to improve something little every single day just are not on the roster... I at least I don't see them stepping up on this team and showing the way...

I very much want to agree with this sentiment though. If you quit then bye, find a new talent that won't quit. But I don't think it's this simple

i've tried to keep a level head with all this but it's completely out of control at this point from O to the mentally weak and soft players

Exactly. This isn't some kid butthurt over playing time.

This is your manager is screwing up royally and you're looking for somewhere to go.

not really

if they are leaving and getting swooped up by programs like UGA, Bama, TAMU, etc then they really don't need to

adding more toxicity to a toxic program is just going to make it easier for more to quit and for programs to recruit against us in the future
