Targeting official telling Fitz to leave video?

I do not have video but do remember the ref motioning or pointing him to the sideline

Saw the video on twitter, it is as bad as described, fitz is basically looking at the ref like wtf?

Wow! It really is as bad as described.

That makes sense. There really was no explanation, so it just seemed fishy at the time. Also, with everything going on concerning the call it made me think.

Read Os lips and it seems to me like he said; “yeah I want to challenge it... he’s going to be out the first half of Alabama”

1) Is there a rule that makes a ref force a guy off the field for bleeding? Is that a thing?

2) That’s bullshite. Watch the video. The ref escorting him to the sideline clearly points to his head twice.

It makes the whole thing smell even more. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them force the guy off the field even after being targeted unless he was legit hurt.

Show me anywhere in that video that his hand was bleeding? He went to the sidelines sat one play and went right back in. I have not heard anything to that effect on this issue.

Do officials do this for every targeted player? I have not seen this before.
