At times, Tanks just needs to put the ball in play and not swing for the HR. Primarily when he's up w/2 outs and runners on base.

Yea I’m sure one of the best hitters in America needs to take advice from us pros on the rant. I think his approach is pretty good, which is why he’s the nations leader in RBI. Swings for the gaps until he has 2 strikes, then just puts the barrel on the ball. He actually tagged the ball last night with bases loaded but the ball went straight to the outfielder. Had it fell in the gap, that was a base clearing double.

Trivia Factoid: Jared Jones has struck out more times this season than Dylan Crews, Tommy White and Cade Beloso combined.

Truly insightful take here. Would read again. I particularly loved how to stated a completely obvious fact to anyone with eye balls. 10/10

Oh, you mean like he needs to be better than the best in the country at that exact thing?

Tanks is very good at driving in runs.

It’s wild how many people ignore all his success to try and find something to complain about.

I had no idea. Thanks for clueing me in. What was your first clue in this totally original thought? Was it that one has the highest batting average in the nation? Or maybe it’s that one leads the nation in runs batted in? Whatever it was, keep up the good detective work. You are treasure and we are lucky to have your posts on this board.
