After spending most of my adult life watching the old LSU offense, I never thought in my lifetime I’d see a Heisman winning QB from LSU, much less one who could win it in the largest landslide in the history of the award. Thank you Joe Burrow for deciding to come to LSU. Coach O is right. He’s the most important recruit in the history of the program.

I'm hoping for the trifecta:
1. Heisman winner Joe Burrow
2. National Championship
3. Coach of the year, our own,
Coach O!

I posted a thread about 2 weeks ago about Burrow winning the Heisman, us playing for a natty , and 2 tigers getting inducted into the NFL hall of fame in 2019 . It's been along time since Jimmy Taylor was in inducted so let's just say 2019 has been special.

Thank you for this post.
Never thought I'd see an LSU player win the Heisman. Tyrann should have; Joe equally deserving. Saturday is gonna be fun, but this Saturday is all for the guy who has made our last 15 Saturdays so much fun.

Hope it doesn’t take another 60!
With the evolution of the offense, I think we’ll have players in the running more often.

Let that sink in. All the history and great players to come through this program and this is going to be just our second Heisman winner. That’s just insane to me and awesome at the same time.
And he’s going to win it in a record landslide vote to boot.
It really is a one in a million type season

Talking to my father in law yesterday and he was saying Jerry Stovall should have won it and was robbed.

He finished second to Terry Baker of Oregon St. 707-618.
He was robbed.
I also think Fournette deserved it when Henry won but that Alabama game cost him.
But this is by far the most clear cut winner I've seen at LSU since I've been following it. Geaux Jeaux!

Stovall got close.
They talked about the Ruston Rifle.
Alexander the Great made a run.
Hodson made the Earth Shake.
Quick Six saved the program.
Dorsey played on the wrong side of the ball.
So did the Honey Badger.
Buga was great, but couldn't get past Bama.
But Joe Burreaux brings it home for the LSU Fighting Tigers for the first time since Billy Cannon.
