But for one bad angle taken (by Cooley on 75 yd run) score would have been 20-3.
there is no way to reasonably think our D was poor. Pyburn showed signs of being dominant. His play and Pickett in run support were the highlights of the night.

Sellers was acked six times and forced into two crucial intentional grounding penalties. But, yeah lets focus on a few times when a great athlete escaped being sacked and draw the ridulous conclusion that tackling is not being taught. The fricking stupidity and negativity on this board is becoming overwhelming.

Dumb.

A great, generational athlete got out of some sacks last night. Good for him.

In recent memory this is one of the better tackling LSU Ds.

The defense gave up more than 10 points just one fricking time this year. Even when they give up yards, they don’t give up many points

On the list of things wrong with this team, anything related to the defense doesn’t make the top 20.

Defense was not our problem hombre. The problem continues to be right tackle.

Man this board is always filled with all-time bad takes.

It’s wild.

Yes the whole “shoulder tackle” needs to be thrown out.
I’m sure the proper fundamentals are being taught consistently. It’s on individual player discipline to execute.

Wrap up and tackle. I’m with you 100%.
With that being said, hard to complain about anything defensively right now when our offense is absolutely crippled by soft OL and just dumb QB.

Yall understand that Lanoris Sellers is one of the most athletic QBs in the country and is 6-4 240 right? This isnt like the time Bo Nix went Mike Vick on us in 2021. Defense played their arse off and are the reason we won the game. They dont deserve ANY negative criticism. We blitzed all night and dared Sellers to beat our CBs 1 on 1 and they couldnt do it. Sure he had a couple big escapes but the defense was never in any real danger.

The past games you are correct but I clearly stated I was only talking about last night. They were very good last night. Did exactly what everybody been begging for and nobody wants to give them credit. Don’t be negative when they struggle AND negative when they play well. Thats just ignorant.

Can you read? The OL played well last night. Not previous games. Last night against South Carolina they played well. If you can’t see that you’re a hack.

Sellers is a 240lb dude that moves like a cat. He also didn’t have any semblance of an oline and was moving as soon as he touched the ball.

You would swear the defense gave up 40 points & 500 yards of offense reading this board this morning.

Yeah, the Rantards were complaining LSU couldn’t tackle Sellers.

22 carries for 19 yards.

It's ridiculous. Then they get mad when proven wrong with facts.
