Didn't Utah have a very strong SOS? Otherwise, looks like LSU has the edge.

Pili will be a problem. Otherwise, LSU matches up well.

The rebounding margin should be concerning for Utah. Especially since they’ll be giving an already very good shooting team extra chances to score.

Good info. Thanks. Utah doesn't rebound because they focus on shooting 3s so much. This will affect our defensive rebounds as well. We will clean up on offensive boards, and will score plenty. Game is close if they are hitting 3s. We win big otherwise.

They have some very impressive wins in their 27-4 record.

They've beaten:
Oklahoma
Alabama
Ole Miss
Arizona
USC
Stanford

Common Opponents:
Oregon State (LSU won by 32, Utah by 2)
SLU (LSU won by 8, Utah by 37)
Alabama (LSU won by 38, Utah by 7)
Ole Miss (LSU won by 9, Utah by 2)

That's the biggest key to the game, imo. If we can rebound the way we did vs Michigan, we can take this game.

My prediction is that LSU wins because of LaDazhia Williams. I think she's going to be an x-factor that keeps Reese out of foul trouble and causes Utah some problems with her offense.

The biggest issue we will have is 3 point defense. If they hit them they will win or it will be close. We have the edge in rebounding but most of the missed shots will be long rebounds causing second shot attempts.

Utah is 27-4.

Losses were at Colorado (24-8 currently, playing Duke tonight), at Stanford (finished 29-6), at Arizona (finished 22-10), and vs Washington St. (finished 23-11) in the Pac 12 Tournament.

If Williams isn't a great midrange shooter and she knows there are better options, I have no problem with her passing the ball. The defense is leaving her open for a reason.

According to the ESPN TV schedule, the slots for game times include 1:30, 4:00, 6:30 and 9:00. I would assume the Seattle region half playing that day would get the later time slots.

The scary thing is we dominated Michigan and Flaujae and Morris have been ice cold most of this post season. I fully expect one of them to finally break it open vs Utah.

Utah is great offensively but their defense isn’t very stingy which is good news for lsu.

What kind of schizophrenic bullshite is that?

I think the key comparison is how Ole Miss did against Utah. They played early in the season when Utah was scoring 90+ points per game and Ole Miss held them to a 69-67 score. And Utah only scored 63 yesterday. They are a very good offense, but they CAN be defended. And I think LSU can pull this off IF we keep Utah from going crazy shooting 3's
