Just remember BAMA where you will be when this game takes place. I would not talk too much trash in the streets of NOLA if i were you, because it can happen to you.

As I said a couple of times already I grew up in New Orleans watching the greatest football in CFB history played in the dome. I know that setting better than most if not all of you LSU fans. And that's what you're facing with our crowd. We made the Sugar Bowl. It would not be half the venue it is without Alabama. And for those of you that say our players weren't even born when all that was going on, that is true. But they came to Bama because of our tradition and our history in places like New Orleans. This is at least as much a home game for us as it is for you. Our fans and our players know it because we live it everyday.

it'll be 60-40 or so... pretty even. It certainly won't be the advantage that Bamahad in Tuscaloosa.

bama1959 You seem to be trying to convince yourself of something. I guess if there was a domed stadium in Birmingham you would also say that venue is no more Bama's home field than LSU's. Suggestion: try the revenge angle. That might make more sense.

I'll bet money I've seen more college football in New Orleans than you ever thought of watching. And your premise is . . . just . . . silly . . .

The dome you grew up in is literally just a shell of what it is today. I am still having a very hard time understanding what this Bama history has to do with anything on Jan 9th. Bama was likely the closest team to the dome in those past Sugar Bowls. This is a completely different monster. Congratulations on knowing where the bathrooms in the dome are, though.

ETA: If you honestly think this is as much a home game for Bama as it is for LSU, you certainly perpetuate the delusional Bama stereotype. LSU likely has double digit players from the metro area of New Orleans alone.

Well I was at Metairie CC when they had a Sugarbowl golf outing. The Bear was so lit up he almost fell out of the golf cart, only to be saved by his handler grabbing his shirt. It was 11 am. That is Bammer tradition. Through the years many came to Bammer because of the tradition, the tradition of cash up front.

I was at the LSU - Ohio State game in 2007. They brought half the state of Ohio, and the crowd was still LSU by a bunch. Keep wishin'.

It still pisses me off the split of tickets between West/East at the SECCG.

You bastard bamers still have grandfather tickets you sell to SEC EAST on those numerous occasions when you're not in the game.

Schools split the allotment, but a huge chunk of seats goes to sponsors and local business owners. Hence, I got my ticket because a family member does work for the superdome. This isn't quite a home game, but it will definitely favor LSU

Not easy and this is our best team since Bryant was our coach.

That's a pitiful statement.

The University of Alabama will get the exact same number of tickets that LSU receives...17,000.
The only way you get more fans than that...buy tickets from ticket brokers or locals who have tickets. I would expect the locals will be pro-LSU. Maybe they won't scream like true Tiger fans but it'll be loud and it'll be dominated by PURPLE AND GOLD!

When you come up with something better, come back.
