I just don’t think FSU is a good team. But hell idk if we are either so I don’t know what the hell to think.

They probably aren’t a good team and if we play them Week 14 we realistically blow the doors off of them. They aren’t particularly talented and to compare the staffs is an insult to BK. The only thing they have going for them is continuity

But it’s game 1 under a new regime and we should expect it to be close

I can help with this, LSU isn’t wrecking anyone anytime soon.

Styles make fights.

FSU is going to try running, be it with the RBs or the QB. The QB will almost always have a passing option. I think our defensive line negates most of the running game but it's the broken and waggle plays that concern me. It will put alot of pressure on our LBs and secondary. In a traditional passing game, the defensive line can help with pressure but FSU rarely runs a snap and pass style.

FSU is strong up front on defense, and our offensive line is still a question mark. Like FSU, we will need to try establishing the run. If we can run on them, we score a ton. Kelly's choice in offensive line starters tells me he wants to bully them, use quick passes, work the middle of the field, basically not need a bunch of time for plays to develop often.

My prediction is somewhere in the middle. FSU gets some things going at times but we're otherwise up to the task on defense. Our offense has some success but otherwise just grinds away.

LSU 28, FSU 10.

I’ve had a few beers and a bottle of wine, so I’m pretty confident in Tigers by 35.

I think FSU will rush for more yards than LSU and the reverse will be true for passing yards. It will be a close game.

Vegas has LSU as a 3-3.5 favorite. And 80+% of the money is on FSU and the line isn't moving. We match up great and it should be a double digit win but it's the first game of the year.
