J.Lee had the strongest arm of any QB on our roster 2007-present.
outside of Brandon Harris, Jordan Jefferson, and Ryan Perriloux you'd be correct
Lee's arm strength is equal to Etling. Both slightly above average

Jarrett Lee had an absolute cannon compared to Etling.

1) J Russell
2) Mett
3a) Perriloux
3b) Harris
5) Jefferson
6) Lee
7) Flynn
8) Etling

Jefferson definitely had a stronger arm than Lee.
You just never knew what direction he was going to throw it in.

Lee had a quick release.
Etling has more upside with his leadership and legs. Reminds me of a taller Flynn.

Lee had stronger arm IMO. But arm strength is only one attribute of a good QB, and not the most important. Decision making is #1 by a long shot. Others include ball security, vision, pocket presence, mobility, leadership/confidence, etc.

This.
Harris has the strongest we've had since Jamarcus IMO.
Closely followed by Mettenberger.
Then Perrilloux then Jefferson then Flynn then Etling/Lee
Then Andrew Hatch

Y.A. Tittle
Geez Louise, no the Jarret Lee/Jefferson/Perriloux/Les whole frickin' thing again.

Really like the way Etling controls this offense, fun to watch but seems critics say he doesn't have enough arm strength. Is he as good or better than Lee, thought Lee was pretty decent just couldn't scramble.

Because Lee shite the bed every time he faced the Crimson Tide.
2010 says you are totally full of crap....

He made 1 good play. It was an important play, but Jefferson was the QB on every scoring drive.
Statistically Lee was awful against Bama in all other years, but those are just facts.

Jefferson had a strong arm. Just needed work on the forward pitch.

Lee had a stronger arm than Jefferson. Jefferson's motion was like a pitcher winding up. Long and slow but he could bring the heat. Lee's motion was textbook, but he did throw into coverage a lot his freshman year.
Forgot about Perriloux as he had a small sample size.

I was at the game too, in the student section, and remember it fondly. See above.
Jarrett Lee made one great play to seal the game when Jefferson was hurt.
He had 8 yards of total offense before that play.

Take out that one completion, and he was only 3/6 for 20 yds.

Arm strength isn't about mechanics. It's about velocity and distance of throwing the pigskin.
