One of the scrappiest teams I can recall.

They played like Tigers and that makes me smile.

I was very happy when Stevens pounced on that fumble. Non losing season streak [ON] OFF

They did the last few games no doubt. I enjoyed it also.

They were scrappy at the end.

The Missouri game on Defense was a head-scratcher because it looked like the effort wasn’t there and it was bothersome. LSU has at times been under coached but you can see the effort.

Scrappy team: 2017. After loosing to Troy winning at Florida and AU back to back. That team had some
depth issues, the difunctional O/Canda thing but they played with balls.

The players who actually wanted to play were on the field.

It was encouraging. I think it is also one reason so many of our draft eligible kids are choosing to return.

Definitely a team to be proud of this year.

Considering how many players were out, I have to give O and company credit because that seemed like a big-time longshot to finish .500 this year. That's a few times now when O's teams have seemed like they were going to fall apart, but finished strong instead.

That was a very nice finish to a season that totally sucked.

Great finish with so many young guys getting in the mix. The real bonus is the amount of upper class men returning next year....maybe we will have some on the field leadership in 2021.

Definitely proud of the team for the way they came together at the end. Those younger players were hungry

And in a normal season this team wins 10 games and nobody is pissed or panicking.

Rather finish like we did than how Florida did.

We are All Tiger fans, so there is a tendency to view these things with P & G glasses. There is a certain amount of revisionism going on. We played better in our last three or four games, especially A&M and Fla. There was clearly a better effort in those games.
BUT, we could just as easily have lost to both Fla (if not for a thrown shoe and an awesome 57 yd. field goal AND a Fla . FG miss) and Ole Miss (but for the fumble and recovery late in 4th Qtr.).
If the ball bounces differently, we win only three games and we view the season differently.
