Iowa State is an enigma. Truly a blue collar team that is capable of giving every team they play a competitive game. I have complete confidence in CEO and his staff, but I am glad that we don’t play Iowa State.

On that night, no one knew how good LSUs offense was nor how good or bad UT was. They were top 10, as pumped as it's possible to be, playing in front of the whole nation and Matthew McConaughey, and they played well, but we made play after play after play to beat them.
You're damn right I still feel good about that game. I'd pay money to be able to see that offensive performance again with the same eyes I had in September. Eyes that were used to seeing us struggle to score points. Now two months later I'm already spoiled.
That was an awesome night to be a Tiger fan. Their struggles do little or nothing to diminish that.

If we go undefeated regular season, Texas will be our 5th best win.......at best.

Who cares? We don't need to hang our hats on the Texas game. Plenty of other wins that are better.

Texas has 12 players injured/suspended right now. 1st team uninjured is a very good team, but its tough to win out when youre rebuilding your program and have that many players out.

Herman and Texas were looking for a statement win, at home on national TV with a healthy team. They gave us their absolute best shot and fell short.
I feel good about that.
