Still a lack of respect for the Tigers

Despite being 1 of 5 undefeated teams left, having a NET of 3, and having five wins over Lunardi’s current tournament field, we got dropped from a 3 to a 4 in his latest bracketology. The media hate for the General is entertaining.

Is his bracketology based on if tourney selection was today , or him predicting how all teams will fair in conference play and remainder of season?
In either case - his rankings do not matter at all; but if it is based on every teams current resume and he has lsu as a 4 seed that is pretty stupid.

People here over estimate the Will Wade computer manipulation with his scheduling of solid mid major teams. Will those teams win a lot of games and likely make the tournament, yes. But what’s the highest seed a team that we have already played would likely be in the tournament, 11 or 12? We haven’t played a single team that would be a top seed.
If we are as good as we hope, it will show in this first stretch of SEC games. Our ranking as voted on by the AP and coaches will adjust accordingly. Up to this point, all LSY has proven is that we are a good team. Whether or not we are great will be determined here pretty soon.

I personally love the lack of respect and I hope this team uses it to their advantage. I would love to see LSU sneak up on all the blue bloods and make these analysts look stupid. It would be great to see Dicky V and his band of merry dipshits crying over LSU being a top seed.

ESPN’s BPI says LSU has the #9 SOS remaining. Sounds about right with the gauntlet we go through in the SEC. We will get every opportunity to prove ourselves.
Bama got a 2 seed last year at 24-6. If we finish 25-6 like the BPI predicts then that should be good enough for a 3 seed at worst.

LSU will probably finish better than 12-6 in the SEC but a 25-6 record isn’t out of the realm of possibilities for LSU. That’s definitely the low end though. If LSU finishes 25-6 they may be a 3 seed. Joe has LSU a 4 now. It’s not a huge deal. Also considering what Lunardi says doesn’t mean anything.

who cares? We haven't played anybody yet and the SEC hasn't even started yet.
Lunardi doesn't matter right now. Start paying attention to this in late-February. Until then, you're wasting your energy.
