Starkvegas 9/16.

Bottom line is; you win the SEC, you go to the CFP. Should be a good tune up game against a top 10 opponent this weekend, but I’m not overly concerned with the outcome

Yeah, except it's pretty frickin hard to do. You'd ideally like to have a top 10 win on your side as you get into the thick of the season.

No, losing on Sunday doesn't ruin the year by any means. But winning puts us on an upward trajectory that can only be beneficial.

The game matters.

Idiotic logic. LSU could theoretically win this game, drop a game to Bama and win the rest, keeping them out of the SECCG, and still make the playoffs as a 1 loss team.

So this game is actually pretty damn important.

We aren’t winning a natty without winning the SEC first. That’s just the long and short of it.

It would be easier now than it was in 2011....the year Bama did this exact thing.

I’m not arguing whether or not it’s possible, I’m just telling you that 2023 LSU, specifically, isn’t gonna do it.

What makes you so certain about this?

We got to the SECCG last year.

Yeah. And we didn’t win that game or a national championship last year. So my point stands

What point? All you said was

and that we didn’t win the SECCG last year. You never said why you were so certain it wouldn't happen.

So I’m asking you what makes you so certain it won’t happen.

I said we aren’t gonna sneak into the playoffs without winning the sec. Our path to a natty is they the SECCG. Somebody else said this game is important because we might lose to bama but still sneak into the playoffs. I’m saying that’s not what’s gonna happen. Try and keep up

No kidding. I’ve seen you say that twice now. All you said was “it’s not going to happen.” There’s no reasoning behind that statement.

You still haven’t answered why you’re so certain that it won’t happen.

This is the third time I’ve asked the same question and you still haven’t answered. Take your own advice.

Why? Idk. Because I said so. How the hell else would I know what’s gonna happen in the future?

Relax. No need to be a jerk about it. You were just so certain, I mean enough to defend your stance on the issue twice yet you can’t give one legitimate reason for your stance.

I wasn't trying to be rude or anything. I was just asking.

If you want to cling to that, have at it.

So if LSU ONLY loses to Bama and they go undefeated. Think Sunday’s game is important????
