Idk why we give the AP any credibility anymore when it comes to CFB.
In the older days I get why people went by it bc they were basically the biggest national media organization at the time. But that day has long been gone. Just get rid of it. Its literally a meaningless poll now and it’s clear the “voters” don’t take it seriously. Just have the coaches and CFP polls that’s all you need.

Unfortunately the Playoff Committee rankings are heavily influenced by these polls.

Biases don't get flipped easily. This bump obviously is not a football evaluational but an emotional voter. He won't be right much. And for now, is irrelevant.

The coaches have an assistant SID fill it out for them, but they have an excuse. They have to plan for next week and don't have time for a ballot.
The AP voters are people whose job it is to know about college football. Inexcusable for them to get it wrong.

The Saragin Ratings are the best, most accurate ratings of a team's relative strength against all other teams.
In that ranking, Alabama is currently #1, Georgia #7 and LSU #9.

It's almost like he's trying to prop up the LITTLE ten over the SEC by voting the way he does.
Newsflash: OVER HALF of the little ten teams would finish behind EVERY SEC team in the standings. With Arkansas being the ONLY exception, and they'd still beat out a few of the little ten teams themselves.
If anyone doubts me, take a look at which teams are actually in the little ten, and not just the top 5 schools in that overrated league.

Wait in Week 5 he had Ole Miss 3 after getting drummed by Florida. Legitimately nothing against Ole Miss but this is reason for him to be dropped from AP. Does he understand how rankings work?

He ranked Oklahoma State at 13…..the same Oklahoma State that lost by 14 to Tulsa. Since beating OSU, Tulsa has lost to North Texas and gotten blown out by an awful Arkansas team. But somehow OSU is a top 15 team?
