I noticed the safeties were playing the run on the play as well. Nobody was back to help on the backside. Poor defense scheme when you have young corners in the game.

Let me tell you something you little punk josh. You don't know what the frick you are talking about. Period. LSU USED to be the most intimidating place in college football to play. Win or lose, our fans supported the team and the players and were crazy and loud througout the entire game. THEY STAYED THE ENTIRE GAME and if you booed a player or coach in the stands you probably were going to get your arse kicked in the stands. We may have not won more than now, but we damn sure supported our team much more than now. The success lsu has had has ripped away what once used to be an incredible game day experience and it has torn our fanbase in half. You little punks think you know it all...you don't know shite. I'm not some 70 year old guy, i'm in my early 40's...but you punks are pathetic. You guys leave at halftime of close games now...i mean wtf....it is sad that lsu has turned into the fanbases of michigan and alabama, notre dame, etc.......sad. Even worse, lsu could win the NC and the idiots like yourself would still be on here trying to find something to bitch about. YOu young punks suck...not all of you are that way, but the majority.

What was that qb's name, Woodley, pretty sure people booed him.

Because it's a situation that they should have been COACHED for. If the kid can't pick up what is going on, he shouldn't be out there. This is what practice is for, knowing what to do and what to expect in these situation. Obviously, they were oblivious as they let the WR run right by them while waiting for the QB to get sacked.
Not what happened. It was a double move. CB's in the NFL get burned on the double move because they jump the route. It's called being aggressive. Those that don't know shite about football and blame everything on coaching should really just STFU.

Unprepared, coaches can be blamed for it. Player isn't without blame, but shite should have been addressed before it happened.

It's obvious the people that post on here that have never tried to instruct someone in ANYTHING much less a 17 or 18 year old in a complicated defensive scheme.

Basically what the post says above me is "There should never be mistakes by any player EVER or it's obviously the coach's fault"

This is the type of retardation that makes it hard to swallow some of the really legit criticism on here.

You're right! Coaching and preparing players for situations guarantees they will absolutely never make a mistake.

We were all on the sidelines telling them that this was the time they were going to take a deep shot.

Is that why they left a freshman corner man-to-man on UNC's best receiver?

I think Les is full of shite. It's more likely he didn't have a clue.

Holy shite...Sean Payton is a shitty coach because a rookie CB got burnt on a play while they were up by 20. Fire Payton!!! BOOOOO!!!!

FWIW, there were many saints fans saying payton was on the hot seat, we'll never win with payton, etc, etc. before last season. Now those same people are willing to follow him thru the desert for 40 years.

bullshite.

I remember how empty the stands were in the 80s and 90s when we were terrible. And people booed as well. Stop talking out of your arse because someone (who you assume to be "young" and "punk"-ish) said something you don't like.

The fans were just as bad back then as they are today. I mean they ran off Chollie Mac . When I was a small child going to Hallman and DiNardo games, I heard the same shite I hear today. I remember our fans booed after we WON against San Jose State because it was a close game. I sat by fans who were older than myself in Atlanta this past weekend who were negative the whole time. Negativity is not exclusive to the "young punks."

Exactly.

This Dunbarton dude just grew up. That's the difference. His perspective is different, but the fanbase is still the same as it's always been.

Dunbarton,

Young fans are the problem? You should probably worry about keeping those darn kids off you lawn and go listen to Beano Cook and Lou Holtz break down college football. This team is talented and for the past couple of years has underachieved. Questioning poor coaching decisions is part of being a fan (fanatic), not a blind homer.

Son I've forgotten more about football than you will ever know. I stay completely caught up with lsu's recruits, coaches, active players, schedules, etc....in all the major sports...but mainly football. I am smart enough to fricking realize a team with a 17 and 18 year old qb in the SEC is going to go through some growing pains. I am smart enough to know that 8-5, 9-4 are pretty damn good down years...especially when the three years prior to that were top 5 finishes. QB means a tremendous amount when you play in a tough schedule such as lsu. LSU will be just fine, and i hope and think they will kick some serious arse this year and shut all you ignorant frickers up. But we know that guys like you will still find something to criticize about. You won't be happy until you have completely destroyed the lsu program and we are fighting to win 6 games......punks.
