Even in that clip Miles takes NO responsibility for the Ole Miss mishap. He says either we should run an offensive play, or we should kick the field goal.
Then he says he doesn't know who told Jefferson to spike it.

If you look at where Miles is looking in that video, I think its pretty clear he wasn't saying to clock it. He was saying "he got it, he got it", he's looking right where Toliver is, not 20 yards back where Jefferson must've been standing at that time.

And this is coming from someone who isn't a Miles apologist

So basically, either Miles is a lying snake who threw JJ under the bus, or JJ just said frick it and spiked the ball even though we had just one second left. Either way, it's terrible.
