about the third game this season when GC said in the advocate that they were going to "simplify" the offense,,,, it should have rung some fricking bells in all you experts heads.
why would you have to do this with a guy that wasn in his third year and over a season worth of starts and playing time under his belt?
WHY?

Forgot about that didnt you?

This
quote:

Stud- the line was better this year than last, but just isn't a dominating line like at some of the other schools in the conference.(D)

and this
quote:

Crowton- I think he can draw up some good plays, but he just doesn't always know the right time to use the right play. He also cannot develop QB's. The stats the last 2 years speak for themselves.(F)

are why this
quote:

Miles- Great recruiter; seems to find very good talent and character men all around; runs a very clean program; needs to just stick to running the program and making the key decisions in a game (go for it on fourth or punt, etc.) and let his coordinators coordinate. (B)

should be a C rather than a B.

Heads roll for the type of offensive performance that has been on display the past two years.

Excuse this, excuse that, JJ isn't smart, blah, blah.

Heads roll.

it seems accountability is extinct these days. Crowton continually puts forth a miserable display of an offense, and people defend him. If he was doing a good to average job, there'd be few detractors.

Depends on how he's performing. I'd imagine Miles and Co. are open to that possibility. If it happens, he can't say JJ and JL didn't get a shot.

Several of those were just crappy play by the personnel.

Remember St Nick had a great defense and a (relatively) low scoring, but efficient offense that ate up the clock even with non scoring possessions. Paul Dietzel had the same philosophy, but to a more extreme degree. Dietzel loved to say "If we are 7 points ahead y'all just as soon go home 'cause nothing else is going to happen." it is the head coaches job to set the team philosophy and this has been the glaring weakness with LSU these past 3 seasons. The offense has not performed consistently and this has hurt the defense and special teams.

sooooo.....you're giving every player on offense a free pass from a share of the accountability?

Why do people keep on saying that our offense as a whole was terrible? Did they not notice that we had a solid rushing offense this season, even despite the poor QB play? Crowton seems to not get any credit for that.

Only our passing offense was bad.....which a good QB could most likely fix. That would even open up the running game even more. Imagine that.
