Let’s look at the last decade of World Series teams. Outside your occasional outside team the teams have been the same. 85% of them.

I’m not even looking and I can tell this is complete made up bullshite.

85% the same would mean seven out of the eight teams are repeats. That’s crazy stupid to suggest. CPM is not energetic. He is not working hard during the offseason, and with only three paid coaches, we can’t afford that. He should be replaced as soon as we can afford to. But quit making up dumb statistics to justify it.

Maneri is literally Maneri lol. But I get what the dude is saying. Both are rigid to change in their philosophy.

LSU baseball should be the equivalent to Alabama baseball.

frick you for saying that.

frick you for thinking that analogy is out of bounds. It’s not.

You think Gump U would put up with a football coach if he put forth the half arse effort and results CPM does for LSU baseball?

I think not. Historically, LSU is the gold standard in SEC baseball, yet the current state of the program is perfectly pedestrian at best. CPM is no better than Miles. One natty won then got lazy and apathetic causing the program to slide out of national and conference relevance.

People who suggest Cannizzaro are fricking idiots. Hey idiots, did any of you see the senate hearing yesterday? Yea, Cannizzaro won’t see this campus anytime soon...

Currently the state of LSU Baseball is a middle to lower tier SEC program.

It’s likely time for a change, but I don’t necessarily agree with this.

Whoever replaces Paul will be inheriting a good situation. It’s definitely not a rebuild job, more of a re-energize job. We just need a HC that is hungry for a title.

It’s pretty obvious from PM’s comments he is totally checked out and not engaged on what’s going on with the program. He just shows up on game day and coaches everything else is left up to assistants.

He probably just needs to retire as he’s accomplished everything a coach can accomplish but is over staying his welcome. He doesn’t want to put in the work any longer, I get it, but you can’t be a successful coach in the SEC and be half checked out.

"It's frustrating for everybody when you don't score runs," said LSU coach Paul Mainieri. "You tip your hat to their pitcher, he was really good, but you know you're going to face great arms every night in this league. You've got to come up with answers and compete against the best pitchers in the country......Really Paul? Then come up with some answers! Talk is cheap!

He doesn’t even know what position some of his players play. It’s a joke.

Unless LSU pulls it together over the next month, Paul should be on his way out. Like another poster said, Covid bought him this year. It’s sad he can’t ever figure out a lineup until late in the season every year. Time to inject someone else in at head coach. There’s better ones out there.
