He’s going to play whether you like it or not.

He’s not going to start against right handed pitchers and that’s all Coastal has.

And the fans show of support is great when it’s organic and genuine, it’s cheesy when it’s a “hey remember when we did this two years ago, let’s do it again.” Then to try and organize it on social media seems over the top to me.

I am a fan of Braswell and believe he can still contribute positively on offense and we know he can on defense.

That said, I would not be happy with this idea. It is not like Jordan Thompson because the Jordan Thompson thing just happened in the moment where fans started chanting his name. These kids have social media and see this is a manufactured thing because the kid is struggling and it can possibly do more harm than good to put even more pressure on himself than he already is.

that bunt nearly cost us the game.

There are like 10 different things that could have cost LSU the game, like not turning a dp in the 7th…twice. I would hardly have blamed Braswell for that game had LSU lost. He went to high school with my daughter. Great kid.

I thought he was turning the corner a little after he hit the ball hard against ucla but he just has very little chance against breaking balls. sliders have ate his arse up. hes not even fouling them off.

he has/had 2 off days to work on it . Hopefully he found something in case its a low scoring game and we have to play him against righties

I always pull for Michael. Standing ovation would be great.

That would not give him confidence. It is a faux ovation.

I’m not in Braswell’s head, but this is how I feel about it. If I was the player, that would embarrass me. It’s like a public gesture saying “we know you suck, but we’re still behind you.”

I really like Braswell, and I hope he can figure something out with the bat this weekend.

after the way we saw us and Arkansas both shite the bed on defense the other night I wouldn't be shocked to see him play against a righty for his defense. reeves scares me,especially when it gets to be late in the game

It would be gay. Like when people would try to recreate the “LSU” chant that helped win the 2003 Georgia game after Georgia scored a TD to tie it at 10 in the 4th in future games after opponents scored.

You can’t artificially recreate impromptu moments.

Braswell had recently seen a fan wearing his jersey and it meant a lot to him because he knows he isn’t the most popular guy on the team

Thats my sign to order a Braswell jersey. Most popular Tiger or not, still a Tiger.

it was a huge mistake. leadoff double and you can't advance the runner to 3rd with any sort of bunt that gets to the ground.

So he gets a participation trophy for battling.189 and leaving runners in scoring position all season. How about he get his head out of his butt, put work in batting practice and hit the dam ball. Downvote me I don’t care. He is the broken link and needs to be replaced.

It was all over social media the night before and on the day of the final game to cheer for JT.

In the first 7 games of the CWS, Thompson was 1 for 30, 14Ks, 1 BB, plus 4 errors. In all fairness, JT was solid at the plate through the regionals and Supers, but it was tough watching him in the CWS.

Don’t take this personally, you just happen to be the one I responded to.

The people who think this is a good idea are the same people who wanted and are still happy about giving Stony Brook a victory lap.

Completely agree. Why would you give a standing O when there's a 80% chance he's going to be out. The old adage of the weakest link definitely applies to Braswell at the plate. I hope he can prove us all wrong.

I’d like to know why coach JJ doesn’t have anyone else on the roster that can play infield/third base as a backup. There is no excuse for that. Look at the outfield, there are 5 or six guys that are good enough to start at every outfield position. This is on the head coach.

You are a professional blamer. I am sure when you screw up, someone else is always the blame and should be fired. May you always receive a dose of your own medicine.
