Why? Do you believe that to be at the top of the top the spread is almost required? Or do you not buy into that reasoning? I will hang up and listen.

Well look at the Top 4. Every team runs a version of the Spread. You can look at the Top 10 sans Michigan as well

Tired of watching pro style football. The game is changing, it's about time we realize that.

Combination of both. I love our style of football, run it down your throats. But need to be able to have a viable passing threat. That doesnt mean we need to pass the ball 40 times a game to win. But when we do passx we need to have success

This to me shows the same elements of the 3-4 vs 4-3 defensive base arguement.

You can stick whatever label you want on our offense : power spread, air raid, ace back, pro-set.

It doesn't matter what we call it. Take elements from all of them. Just get the ball into the end zone and the points in the board.

I do not understand why in the modern age of football, and with the talent we are able to recruit, why we cannot find an offensive coordinator that is committed to blending and using aspects of both.

There are so many creative things possible on the offensive side of the ball.

That being said, I just want to see an offense that can move the ball and score against Alabama...if we can do that, we can move the ball and score on anyone and will be playing for national championships.

A balanced pro style offense that can run or throw from the I-form, pro-set, or shotgun.

We need a flexible, well-executed offense rather than a one-dimensional, poorly-coached offense.
