it's the natural consequence of identity politics. You are forced to pick a team and then HAVE to vote for your teammates b/c the other side does so w/o exception. i remember many years ago voting across party lines was common. not so much anymore

It would mean that. I don't think there's any evidence beyond tweets that he is actually in a psychiatric facility, or that they have stopped planning events. If there is some sort of actual evidence it would be good to know what it is.
Believing any tweet that says something you hope is true, regardless of whether it has any sources, is just a terrible way to actually find out what things are actually true.

In elections that are going to be this close most people already have their minds made up. They already believe the stuff that has been said about Talarico or they think it’s just politics.
If he does 1 event or interview this weekend and the interview Wednesday on CNN most voters will forget or don’t care about him missing time on the trail.
The ground game is what is important. The Democrats will work on getting evwoout to vote.
