Imagine being so politically consumed, that every major event that happens, is someway intended to take down the president.

I made my post before reading yours, but it seems we agree. However, there are already leadership councils, and I’m sure their input is already being considered. So I guess I’m not sure what Spears’ suggestion actually looks like that’s different than what already goes on. If it’s just what we both think it should be, then this is really a non-story unless these councils are being shut-out, which I seriously doubt. If it’s somethimg different, I wish he’d have articulated it.

Players do not have to play if they aren’t happy with the conditions. That is their involvement, and is say it’s the most powerful position.

So the democrats in America are so powerful that they can even control what’s going on in all other countries too? Is that.... is that what you are saying? Because I find it rather hard to believe that if they had that much influence on every other country in the world that they wouldn’t have the power to just take anything and everything they want without using some “global virus conspiracy“.

Threat of the virus: overwhelming the healthcare systems. Is it not odd to you that the countries with the most advanced healthcare systems seem to be the most affected? Wouldn’t you think the countries with the weakest healthcare care systems would be incredibly overwhelmed and would be begging for aid, resources and personnel to get through this crisis? Don’t you think that would be the primary story if the threat was as great as it is being portrayed? Instead we have ventilators that were just built collecting dust, and thousands of furloughed healthcare workers sitting at home because they are not critical- even though most of them have hospital-setting training. The main narrative is trump rallies and not wearing masks in public.

There is a global media with a consistent narrative. It’s not new, and they are not only powerful enough but control every narrative because they are the damn media. Wake up.

It is very simple. Don't play football. Go on and do something else with your life.

ESPN was great for LSU, regardless of their political leanings. I have the ability to admit that, some don’t.

Spears is simply setting the table for athletes to sue the universities for money. Like every thing else it’s about getting money for doing nothing.

A group so inept that they couldnt gain control of the senate or the presidency, was able to orchestrate A pandemic worldwide as a plan to oust a sitting us president? That makes sense.

The Democratic party has nothing to do with Covid-19 and the spread of the disease.
Using Covid-19 and the administration handling of Covid-19 for political purposes is happening for sure.

Trump had a commanding lead in the Presidential race and democrats are using anything negative in our country to oust Trump including the economy and racial issues.

If the shoe was on the other foot the Republican party would do the exact same thing.

There is no devious plan or covert operation going on by either party however Covid-19 is a political football and the public is being played and the media has the eye on the ball.

According to MSNBC, the only way to catch COVID is by going to a Trump rally. Protesters and anarchist are encouraged to keep up the good work.

What does this have to do with being tested for COVID-19? If you retest them in four weeks the odds will be the same. You are implying that they could have tested positive after catching it four months ago. That's not true.

According to Fox, every protester is a thug, a looter, violent, and antifa.

What's your point?

We don't need Fox to show us the looting, violent, anarchist actions happening across every democratic-socialist run city. We can google and YouTube the interwebs, jackass.

We were talking about how to catch COVID. Stay on topic. MSNBC showed protests and riots for 2 weeks without a mention of the mass gatherings helping the spread of COVID. Now, bad orange man holds a rally and COVID is out of control and the fear mongering is in full effect.

Looked to me like you were talking about the socialist plot to take over the country.

There are two general views the news channels are showing and both are sensationalized.

People see what they want to see.

Honestly I don't know how they are going to play the season. As much as I am going to miss it, I don't see football happening in 2020. Way too much risk and not enough buy in from the players. If the conference really tries to push it, they may be facing a strike or lawsuit. And I don't think they want to have a precedent set like that.

Unless a vaccine or anti-viral is available, I think its going to be replays for us boys until 2021. Downvote away !!

Not the same, but MLB might shed some light if they finally get rolling before July ends. CDC recently stated it believes the # of infections to be > 20M, if so risk of death is extremely low for college age group. Some people are claiming they have gotten it 2x already this year, it got it, recovered, got it again. Some people have had it over 90 days from initial infection. Who the F knows. It's obviously case by case.
