Im new here and Indiana being big 10 champs last year especially over Michigan says alot but I still felt Indiana was inferior. I felt like the tigers should have won game 3. We got handled at the plate and could not seem to find our way on the hill. We can say at least we won the series yes but it still sucks to not look good on opening weekend in game 3. Hopefully a solid game 3 starter will come to light and hopefully we can get back to Sundays asap for game 3 instead of that dbl header. On a side note, J. Hill is the real deal if he stays healthy.

We don’t know what we have until SEC play gets underway.

There are always lineup changes, position switches, etc. as the “preseason” goes along. Players develop. Sometimes we see big changes even midway into SEC play..

Anyone melting because we went 2 of 3 opening weekend has lost their damned mind.

That's the way I saw it too. Too early to go full on melt mode. Pitching was strong apart from a couple of bad outings. Hill might be huge if he stays healthy.

And then we score 2 runs in game 3!

Don't think that we have proven that our lack of hitting is corrected yet, although I hope it is with Eddie Smith providing an approach at the plate.
But lots of guys looked clueless most of this first weekend of the season.

Labas actually pitched well; not sure where the game 3 starter comment came from

I guess that poster thought that LSU lost that game due to starting pitching. When Labas left the game, Indiana had only scored 1 run. I realize that he left two men on, but the bullpen could not hold.
