Can anyone explain the reasoning behind moving it from 11 if it does?

Only thing I could think is not having the stadium ready by 11am.

South Carolina wants a later kickoff because they know more people will go. 11am will be a bare bones crowd.

Tiger Stadium personnel have been on standby since Monday. This isn't an issue.

Also USC is not flying in until Friday. Making them play at 11am is not optimal.

Standby is not the same as movement

LSU probably said they would need the extra time to get everything set up. Good excuse to get out of a crappy time slot. I think the team was scheduled to wake up at 7:30 for a noon kickoff. Moving the game to Central time zone makes the wake up call at 6:30.

I wonder if we'll cut back on concessions to reduce costs

We better not overlook them they will come out playing with a lot of emotion

No they won't.

They've had to deal with the flooding distraction all week and now they've lost their second biggest home game of the year (behind Clemson). SC is going to get slaughtered.

Teams always fly in the day before regardless of start time

Hanagriff said they already talked to LSU about it. ESPN is fighting the move because Fournette moves the meter for them. USCe is pushing for a later start to sell more tickets. LSU could have game there tomorrow if they needed to.

that shouldnt be a reason to move the game time back.

And sit wherever they want?

That would piss off too many season ticket holders.

Season ticket holders don't have tickets to this game.

There are no costs associated with concessions that can be cut back. The workers are volunteer groups that make a commission. Having less workers won't reduce any expenses.
